Bichain is a hamlet in the commune of Villeneuve-la-Guyard (F89340), located north of Yonne, on the edge of Seine-et-Marne. Claude Debussy and his wife Lily stayed in this hamlet for several summers. Claude worked on several of his great works there. The house then the couple occupied was purchased by the municipality.

A team of enthusiasts is working to obtain the rehabilitation of this house, in order to make it a museum and a center of artistic activities.
